The format of the Summer Sizzler is similar to our previous tournaments. There are two phases.
First there is a round-robin portion. Depending on the number of teams in a bracket this phase may be a complete round-robin or a partial round-robin. This format gives you plenty of play and a chance to warm-up for phase 2. It is also used to seed the teams in phase 2.
The second portion is an elimination format. Again, the exact format depends on the number of teams in the bracket. Normally medals are awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
